Duties: |
Primary duties for this position
include developing PLC/PAC software and HMI interfaces to insure reliable and
safe operation of our products, while working closely with process engineers,
field service engineers and project managers to enhance existing software
systems; developing process operation manuals; training engineers, operators
and maintenance technicians; specifying hardware and software operating systems
and development tools; analyzing new software and hardware technologies to
insure long term control system integrity. |
| Skills
Required: |
More than 2 years experience with embedded industrial automation systems and/or
PC based process control systems.
Must be familiar with structured text and graphical PLC/PAC programming.
Must be familiar with PID loops and real-time process control.
Should be familiar with Internet communication protocols, TCP/IP, Modbus or
Ethernet/IP.
Should be familiar with OPC, SCADA, SQL databases and .NET framework.
Should be familiar with Visual Basic, C++, Java Script, .ASP or HTML.
Must be a strong individual contributor with the ability to multi-task.

| Skills Preferred: |
BS degree in Engineering or Computer
Science.
Chemical processing industry experience a plus.
Experience with TwinCAT, WebStudio, Wonderware, Steeplechase and/or similar PLC
programming/HMI development tools a plus. |

8 AM to 5 PM |
